Motivating High Performance Through Recognition

The County of Mendocino recognizes the importance of motivating and rewarding employees.  The Leadership Initiative's Employee Engagement Work team has developed a new County-wide Employee Recognition Program.  

One of the three prominent themes in the 2018 County of Mendocino Employee Engagement Survey was a need for employee recognition.

Recognition Program Guidelines

(If you are NOT a supervisor, manager or department head and would like to see a fellow  co-worker nominated for an award, please speak to the person's individual supervisor, manager or department head.  At this time, the nomination and award must come from the supervisor/manager/department head but there are many other ways you can recognize a co-worker informally.
