Medical Coverage
The County of Mendocino partners with Anthem Blue Cross, our Third Party Administrator (TPA), for the employee benefit plan. Anthem processes claims on the County's behalf and performs other administrative services in accordance with our Health Plan.

ANTHEM MEMBER ACCOUNT
The County uses the Anthem Blue Cross Network of Providers. By using physicians and hospitals that are "In Network," employees will receive care at a lower negotiated rate.
When you enroll in the County Medical plan you are automatically enrolled in: Prescription Drug, Vision/Dental, and air ambulance membership (during active employment only). The medical plan provides benefits for preventive care, hospital stays, emergency room care and mental health/chemical dependency treatment.
