The Flexible Spending Program is available to County of Mendocino employees who are eligible for the Health Plan and have passed their initial employment probationary period. During the annual Open Enrollment period, eligible employees can enroll in Health Care or Dependent Care Spending Accounts.

The Flexible Spending Program allows you to:

• Save money by using pre-tax dollars for un-reimbursed health and dependent care expenses
• Increase your take home pay
• Save money by setting aside money on a pre-tax basis
• Have funds automatically withdrawn from your bi-weekly paycheck based upon your election amount
