The Animal Care Services Clinic provides the following services to Mendocino County dog & cat owners:
- Low cost spay & neuter that is financially assisted through the Spay & Neuter Assistance Program
- Due to overwhelming demand, the wait time for surgeries is at least six months, and often longer

- Trap, Neuter & Release of Feral Cats

- Rabies
- Testing for FELV, FIV, Heartworm for both dogs & cats, and Parvo

Dog Owners
There are a few things you should be aware of:
- All owners of dogs spayed or neutered in the Clinic are required to purchase a Mendocino County Dog License for $31.00 if needed.
- The Clinic will not perform spay & neuter surgeries on dogs that are over 5 years of age and/or over 100 pounds in weight.
- Spay & neuter surgeries for dogs over 5 years old and/or over 100 lbs can be risky and you should consult with your primary Veterinarian.
