The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee provides ongoing advice and recommendations regarding in-home supportive services to:

1. The Mendocino County Board of Supervisors
2. The Directors and Administrative Agency of the Public Authority

Membership

The IHSS Advisory Committee has eleven members appointed by the County Board of Supervisors. The term of service is normally two years, but may be extended with the approval of the Board of Supervisors. The committee consists of:

• Six members who are current or former representatives of the Mendocino County IHSS caseload
• Two members who are current or former IHSS providers
• Three members experienced in program development, administration, or fiscal management of home care service delivery organizations
