FDDC is designed for parents who are involved with Family and Children’s Services and the Juvenile Court due to their substance abuse as it impacts their ability to safely care for their children.

If you are involved in FDDC, you will participate in substance abuse treatment services with Mendocino County’s Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (SUDT) and have frequent court appearances to check-in with the Judge on how your treatment is going. Options for detox and residential substance abuse treatment are also available. The Social Worker works closely with SUDT counselors, the Attorneys and the Court to help you successfully achieve recovery.
