The County of Mendocino is pleased to announce the implementation of Planet Bid System™, a fully automated web-based vendor and bid management system. This system will make doing business with the County of Mendocino easier by providing vendors up-to-date information regarding bid requests.
 
Some of the key features and benefits of Planet Bid System™ include the ability to:
 
  • Maintain your own profile as a new or existing vendor
  • Receive automatic e-mail notifications for selected bid opportunities based on product/service categories
  • Search for all types of requests, addenda, plan holders, bid results, and awards at any time
  • Request and download bid document(s) when available
  • Receive automatic addendum notification as a bid participant
  • Submit electronic bids, if applicable, allowing bid responses to be securely submitted on-line.

The County of Mendocino will be phasing in conducting all of its bid and proposal solicitations online through the Planet Bid System™ , starting with solicitations for goods starting October  1, 2020.  At this time, we ask that vendors begin registering by Clicking Here

DATA WAREHOUSE SOLUTIONS

This Request for Proposal (RFP) announces the intent of the County of Mendocino
Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to select a single organization to provide a
comprehensive shared HIPAA compliant data warehouse solution.
The purpose of the RFP is to find a provider with documented expertise in the supply
and management of an enterprise data warehousing and master data management
platform and related services for a HIPAA compliant data warehouse solution to bridge
the gap between service providers and their respective existing technological data
systems. With a data warehouse solution, the Agency hopes to accomplish the
following:

  • Create a central repository for all agency and partner data from various data
  • Use the data in the repository to interface with software applications and to
    prepare internal and external statistical reports; and
    Improve HIPAA compliant data sharing amongst partners, internally and
    externally.

Vendors must submit five (5) copies of their proposal: four (4) complete paper
copies with original Vendor signature, and one (1) complete copy on CD. The
proposal must be formatted in accordance with the instructions of this RFP.
Promotional materials may be attached, but are not necessary and will not be considered as meeting any of the requirements of this RFP. Proposals must be
enclosed in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked “Mendocino County RFP
No. 023-22”, and delivered by 5:00 p.m. June 3, 2022 to:

Late or facsimile proposals will not be accepted. It is the proposer’s
responsibility to assure that its proposal is delivered and received at the location
specified herein, on or before the date and hour set. Proposals received after the

the County’s official logo is strictly prohibited.
