A Tour of Ireland and Northern Ireland offers the armchair traveler a chance to explore country farms and village pubs, ancient ruins, medieval cathedrals, the haunts of Irish literary luminaries such as W. B. Yeats and James Joyce, and spectacular scenery as you tour with Marc C. Conner, Phd English from Princeton, and scholar of modern Irish literature. Each lecture is followed by class discussion and time to share personal stories of this enchanting island and its complex history.
This 12-week course runs from 1:30 to 3:00 pm, October 30 through February 5. No class on November 27, December 25, and January 1. Free and open to the public. No sign up required. Drop-ins welcome.
