A Touch of Mendocino County: Barns, the Disappearing Rural Architecture of Agrarian California
Thursday, October 26, 2023
11:00 am -12:00 pm
Join us as local painter and sculptor, Rebecca Johnson, talks about the influence of the Mendocino landscape on her art.
Rebecca will give a presentation describing her process of how she creates her intriguing bas-relief barn constructions. Her talk will include photographs of barns in Northern California. Rebecca's art is a celebration and historical record of rural Mendocino County.
This event is part of a monthly series, "A Touch of Mendocino County", which takes place on the last Thursday of the month in the Willits Branch Library community room.
