The Museum invites members of the public to attend our current exhibit, ImPRESSED, and participate in upcoming printmaking demonstrations and artist lectures.

  Have you ever wanted to explore printmaking? Play with color, texture, and layering? In this afternoon demonstration we will cover how to use everyday materials to mimic texture and plan compositions and layers to create one-of-a-kind prints. Inspired by the coast of California, the golden hills and towering redwoods, the multiple is all around! We will take time to imagine different compositions through color, texture, and whimsical marks taken directly from inside and outside of the workroom. Using traditional and contemporary printmaking methods you will learn how to work with materials, ink, and a small nipping book press to envision your print.
