Teen Summer Reading Going out with a Bang!
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! (and games!)
August 5 between 12:30 PM and 5 PM
Are you a teenager, ages 11-18? Do you like Ice Cream? Video games or board games? Dancing or crafting?
If you answered yes to the first question and even maybe to the others, join us at the Ukiah Branch Library Teen Summer Reading Party on August 5 between 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. as we celebrate the close of Summer Reading!
Try out games like “The Last of Us”, “Stray”, “Sonic Frontiers”, and “NBA 2k23” on the Playstation 5, or see if you can beat your friends at “Super Smash Bros” or “Mario Kart”. If you like it slower try out “Wingspan”, “Clue”, “Munchkin”, “Exploding Kittens” or any other available board games. Interested in RPGs? Come check out our collection and try your hand at character creation!
Snacks and beverages will be available throughout the afternoon. No guarantees, though, on how long the ice cream lasts, so come get it while it’s hot! Need a dance break? Make one happen. Painting supplies will be available for anyone less inclined to competition.

¿Eres un adolescente, de 11 a 18 años? ¿Te gusta el helado? ¿Videojuegos o juegos de mesa? ¿Bailar o hacer manualidades?
Si respondió afirmativamente a la primera pregunta e incluso quizás a las otras, únase a nosotros en la Fiesta de Lectura de Verano para Adolescentes de la Biblioteca Sucursal de Ukiah el 5 de agosto entre las 12:30 p. m. y 5 p. m. mientras celebramos el cierre de la lectura de verano!
