These days it seems more important than ever to make great-tasting food from local ingredients for our health, the health of the planet, and for satisfying our wallets. Join culinary educator, dietitian, and cookbook author Jill Nussinow as she shares some of her tips and tricks for using local produce to produce healthy nutritious meals. She will be demonstrating how to sprout seeds to eat, how to make a vegetable ferment, and a dish with cooked foods of the season. Bring your produce questions and get them answered. Likely she will be using the Instant Pot, an appliance for which she is known for her award-winning book Vegan Under Pressure. Samples will be served.
