CALL FOR SPECIAL EXHIBIT DOCENTS!

Museum staff will host an exhibit orientation March 28, at 11:00 am, for anyone interested in becoming a docent. Get a sneak peek at the exhibit and the adventures to come!
We hope you can join us for treats, coffee, and an introduction to the exhibit content! Sponsored by the Friends of the Museum.

Our new exhibit, Gadgets Galore!, promises to be an engaging experience for Museum volunteers and guests alike. This exhibit, brought to us by Exhibit Envoy, explores a variety of well-known inventions such as the telephone and stereoscope. Museum staff have searched the depths of our collection to bring out relics rarely displayed. Radios, phonographs, coffee grinders, and butter churns are awaiting display.

Of course, people are the most important factor in bringing an exhibit like this to life! The Museum is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to engage with our visitors. Volunteering at the Museum is a great way to meet new people and connect the community to local history. If you have been considering dipping your toes in the community service world, this is the perfect opportunity! As a special exhibit docent, you can help by demonstrating our replica gadgets, explaining invention concepts during field trips, aiding with community tours, and supporting special programs.
