The Ukiah Valley Basin Groundwater Agency (UVBGSA) is a public agency formed to sustainably manage groundwater in the Ukiah Valley Basin. The agency was formed in 2017 and is in the process of developing a local Groundwater Sustainability Plan in accordance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). Please refer to the UVBGSA website for more information on the members and meetings.
Please join the UVBGSA as they present on the progress of the GSP that will guide management decisions through to 2042, when the Ukiah Valley Basin needs to reach SGMA mandated sustainability requirements. We will be discussing the development of the GSP chapters, the groundwater elevation monitoring network and a discussion on some of the scenarios which may impact short and long term sustainability to the Basin. We welcome public feedback as part of this ongoing process.
