  • Updated Inland Zoning Code - The amended Division I Mendocino County Zoning Code (covering all parcels not in the Coastal Zone or the Town of Mendocino) was formally adopted by the Board of Supervisors on September 10 2024, and is now in effect. You can find links to the updated Code on the Planning Division web page under "About our Zoning Code", and also on the Ordinance Updates page (under "Current Plans and Resources")  
  • PERMIT AMNESTY PROGRAM EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 31, 2024! The Permit Amnesty Program allows property owners to self-report unpermitted residential and commercial buildings and obtain permits without having to pay investigative and penalty fees. COMPLETE permit applications submitted as part of the Amnesty Program must be received by Planning and Building Services BY 5:00PM, TUESDAY DECEMBER 31 to be eligible. You can find links to the Permit Amnesty News Release, The Permit Amnesty Flyer, and Permit Amnesty Packet in the Forms and Resource Handouts section of the Building Division web page. (*PLEASE NOTE - Amnesty does not apply to code enforcement cases for which violations have been confirmed)
